Coach Nicole has co-owned the Soccer Shots Greater St. Louis franchise with her husband, Jamie, since 2010. Nicole has a Bachelor’s in Business Administration and Master’s in Human Resource Development. Prior to joining Soccer Shots full time, Nicole spent approx. 17 years in Human Resources, holding global leadership roles in a variety of industries before joining her husband as a full-time franchise owner in 2018.
Coach Jamie has co-owned Soccer Shots Greater St. Louis with his wife, Nicole, since 2010. Soccer has been Jamie’s passion since he started playing the game at the age of 5. He played competitive soccer through high school, and went on to play four years at the collegiate level at St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa. After graduating with a Bachelor’s in Biology, Jamie continued to stay connected to the sport through coaching. He started coaching youth soccer in 2006 and is a youth and collegiate soccer official. Coach Jamie ran the day-to-day operations of Soccer Shots until 2020, when he started a lawn/landscaping/snow removal business in St. Charles County. Although he no longer coaches full time, Coach Jamie can still be found on Soccer Island from time to time.
Coach Jake promoted into the role of Director in 2022 and has been with the Soccer Shots team since Fall 2020. Jake holds a Bachelor’s in Health and Human Performance with emphasis on Sports Management. Jake is leaving a position with National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and has prior experience with sports groups such as the Frontier Professional Baseball League and the O’Fallon Hoots. Jake is passionate about Soccer Shots and serving children through our programming. In his new position, he has responsibility for program operations (season start up, scheduling, in-season programing), program growth and community involvement, team leadership, and coaching.
Coach Sam joined our team as Director of Coaching and Programs in the summer of 2023. He played soccer at DeSmet Jesuit High School and was the lead scorer AND goalkeeper for his recreational soccer team! Coach Sam has been a youth soccer coach for 6 years and even is a summer camp counselor. He has his Bachelor’s in Communication with minors in Sports Business and Marketing. His favorite favorite thing about coaching with Soccer Shots is seeing the kids excited to play soccer and giving them the space to be silly and have fun. Fun Fact: He walked across an entire country living out of a backpack!
Angela joined our team in the role of Education Director in 2023 and previously coached with Soccer Shots (2018-2020). Angela oversees enrollment and supports scheduling, billing, and team onboarding. She is also responsible for day-to-day communication and customer service and is usually the voice you hear on the other end of the phone when you call our office. Fun Fact: Angela is a mom of 5!
Coach Sydney came on board in March 2023 and was promoted to her new role of Public Programs Coordinator & Lead Coach in May 2023. Sydney has been playing soccer her entire life, up to semi-pro, and also worked in a local preschool for one year prior to joining the Soccer Shots team. Her favorite thing about coaching with Soccer Shots is “watching children fall in love with a sport.” Fun fact: Coach Sydney is a marathon runner!
Coach Micah joined the team as an Assistant Coach in 2022, after graduating from Timberland High School. Micah played soccer for over 14 years and was a co-captain of his high school soccer team. Micah is the first coach to come onboard that was formerly a Soccer Shots player! Coach Micah’s favorite thing about coaching with Soccer Shots is being able to play soccer while he’s working. A fun fact about Micah is he is a goalkeeper.
Coach Anna joined the Soccer Shots team in May 2023 and holds a Bachelor’s in Psychology with minor in Education from Maryville University. Anna played soccer as a child and enjoyed being active and having fun. Anna has formerly worked with young children in a local preschool and has also been a nanny. Coach Anna is currently a Middle School Guidance Secretary with a local school district and says the best thing about coaching with Soccer Shots is “being outside, having fun, and being active!” Fun Fact: Coach Anna loves to read and ran a half-marathon in October 2022.
Coach Olivia joined our Soccer Shots team in the Summer 2023 season. She has played soccer since she was 3 years old! Olivia is a teacher at a local child care center and has babysat and worked with kiddos for as long as she can remember. After graduating from high school, she is currently working towards making her way to medical school. Coach Olivia’s favorite part about coaching with Soccer Shots is, “Seeing the smiles on the kids faces as they learn new skills.” Fun Fact: Her first ever goal was scored on the wrong side of the field.
Coach Lisa came onboard with Soccer Shots in Fall 2023 and holds a Bachelor's in Education from Southeast Missouri State University. Coach Lisa is a former P.E. Teacher and has 20+ years' experience coaching youth sports, including soccer, basketball, volleyball and softball.
Coach Felipe joined the Soccer Shots team in Spring 2024. Felipe has been playing soccer since he was 8 with experience in every position except for goalie. He has over 5 years of experience working with youth, starting as a field trip host at the Science Center and continuing with work at the Boys and Girls Club with all ages. He attended Santa Ana Community College for Communication Studies. Coach Felipe's favorite thing about coaching with Soccer Shots is inspiring kids to get out and get active! A fun fact about Felipe is he was once a member of a private club in Hollywood called the Academy of Magical Arts to help preserve the art of magic!
Coach Maddy joined Soccer Shots in May 2024 as a full time Coach. She graduated from Westminster College with a Bachelor's in Health and Wellness and was a member of the Westminster Women's Soccer team while in school. Coach Maddy started playing soccer at age 5 and says "I am excited to work with kids every day and really coach a sport I love." Fun Fact: Coach Maddy can touch the tip of her tongue to her nose!
Coach Gracie joined Soccer Shots in Summer 2024 as a full time Coach. She is a student at St. Charles Community College and plans to become a high school teacher after graduating. Coach Gracie has previous experience as a children's swim coach and has been babysitting since age 13. Coach Gracie's favorite thing about coaching with Soccer Shots is "how I can get to run around with the kids and demonstrate goals/ideas."
Coach Molly joined our team in Spring 2024 and previously played soccer for Truman State University's Women's Soccer team. Coach Molly graduated with a Bachelor's in Exercise Science and is currently working towards a Ph.D. in Occupational Therapy. Molly has previous experience as a nanny and says her favorite things about coaching with Soccer Shots are "seeing the kids develop, their enjoyment of soccer, and working in a fun and active environment." Fun Fact: Coach Molly is the only red head in her family!
Coach Brayden joined Soccer Shots in August 2024 and recently graduated with a Bachelor's in Psychology. Brayden previously played soccer through age 19, including high school and select, and was captain for multiple teams. Coach Brayden says his favorite thing about coaching with Soccer Shots is "sparking an interest in soccer for children and introducing them to a game that has brought me so much." Fun Fact: Coach Brayden's high school soccer team won a state championship his senior year.
Coach Alexis joined our team in Fall 2024, with previous experience working youth soccer camps for her former club. Coach Alexis has played soccer since age 3 and played competitively for Saint Louis Scott Gallagher. Coach Alexis is a nursing student and also currently training for her first half-marathon. Her favorite thing about coaching with Soccer Shots is "I love to see all the smiling faces of the kids who come through the program." Fun Fact: Coach Alexis has lived in 3 different states!
Coach Joe recently graduated with a Bachelor's from Missouri Baptist University, where he was a member of the MBU Men's Soccer team. He joined our team in Fall 2024 and previously played for Lou Fusz Soccer Club and for his high school as well. Coach Joe says his favorite thing about coaching with Soccer Shots is "the opportunity to work with children, let them have fun, and build their love of the game." Fun Fact: Coach Joe has a twin sister!
