Kansas City, MO

Coach Taylor Is born and raised in the KCMO area. Taylor grew up playing sports starting from the age of 3, but her heart has remained on the pitch. Coach Taylor enjoys being very outdoorsy, listening to music and spending time with my friends and family, also playing soccer on an indoor team! Looking forward to my journey here and to be able to teach and have fun with the kids here at Soccer Shots!

Coach Carlos was born in Naples, Florida and also lived in Texas. Coach Carlos, began playing soccer since the age of 3 playing in tournaments all over Texas, Mexico, and competed in Florida at the IMG academy. He graduated from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, Texas with a Bachelors degree in Kinesiology. Coach Carlos, played in high school, college, and in a semi-professional soccer team after his collegiate career was over in Texas. He was the team captain in all three teams respectively. While in college, he was a scholar athlete and received all conference and all tournament team honors. After graduating, he became a PE teacher at an elementary school before moving back home to Florida. While in Florida, he was a director for the SWFL Soccer Shots Franchise. Now in Kansas City, Coach Carlos loves everything about the mission behind Soccer Shots and building a stronger youth beyond the game. He hopes to make a positive impact not only with the children but in the community as well.

Coach Marcus was born and raised here in Kansas City. He grew up playing various sports but always preferred soccer over the others. Coach Marcus graduated from College of the Ozarks with his Bachelors in Allied Health Science, and recently graduated from Rockhurst University with his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. Marcus has coached soccer and track for a small private school in the past and loves introducing the sport to young children. In his spare time, Coach Marcus enjoys spending time with family, playing video games, and drinking coffee at local coffee shops. Coach Marcus is excited to share his love of the sport with the kids of Soccer Shots!

Coach Martin is from Santiago, Chile but resides in Kansas City. He has been around sports since a young age, but was always linked to soccer in a really strong and passionate way. He graduated from Park University in Parkville, MO with a bachelors degree in Sports and Exercise Science. While in college, he was a student-athlete during his four years there as he was part of the mens soccer team. In his spare time, Martin enjoys playing video games and eating healthy natural food. Coach Martin has learned so much from his coaches throughout his playing career and is excited on becoming a coach to share and teach the beautiful game of soccer with the children in Soccer Shots!

Coach Mira is from Fayetteville, NC. She played soccer from ages 9 to 18, and she is currently working towards a bachelors degree in Social Work. She loves making art, listening to music, and exploring the city with friends. She is exited to make an impact and have tons of fun with the kids at Soccer Shots!

Coach Samuel is originally from Portland Oregon, and moved to the Kansas City area a year ago. He played soccer for several years in school and assistant coached a homeschool league in Oregon. He loves playing guitar, skateboarding, and hanging out with friends. He is grateful to be part of the soccer shots family and to see the way the kids progress and how much fun the kids have with Soccer Shots!

Coach Courtney was born and raised in the Kansas City area. She just recently graduated from the University of Central Missouri with a Bachelors Degree in Anthropology. She grew up playing soccer, and has also coached youth soccer players. She is very excited to help kids learn more about soccer and have some fun!

Coach Talamantez (Tala) was born in Kansas City, grew up in Blue Springs MO. This is where he grew up and played soccer for 8 years. Bouncing around from club to club then eventually throughout High School. He enjoys movies, gaming, and art. Ask him any trivia question about Star Wars and he's bound to get it right. He's dedicated to learning leadership skills and what it means to be a great role model. He is excited to coach and share his joy of soccer with Soccer Shots!

Coach Rayne was born & raised around the Kansas City area. She is currently pursuing a degree in elementary education. In her spare time she enjoys crocheting, reading, baking, and going to the gym. She’s grown up playing soccer and is so excited to become a coach and have the ability to share her combined passion of education and soccer with Soccer Shots!

Coach Taylor was born in Kansas City, MO. Coach Taylor has been playing soccer since the age of 3, traveling the country to compete in tournaments. Taylor played throughout her school years - and in high school becoming the only freshman on varsity and earning MVP, Offensive player of the year, First team all district, and First team all conference honorable mention. Coach Taylor has always had a passion for soccer and working with kids. I have worked with children since the age of 14. Taylor is currently studying for an associates in professional health science and plan to go to KU after for cardiac sonography. Coach Taylor is excited to be part of the Soccer Shots team, and helping grow the game of soccer with the children she coaches!

Coach Tori was raised in Kansas City, MO and started playing soccer at five years old. Soccer has been a huge part of her life and she is excited to share that with the next generation. Tori is currently a preschool teaching assistant and is pursing her master’s degree in Early Childhood and Special Education. She loves helping kids grow and learn, and coaching at Soccer Shots is another great way to do that.
