Born and raised in Mishawaka, soccer has been a continuous life journey for Steve. After playing soccer at Bethel College, Steve went on to coach at Penn High School as an assistant girls’ coach and later as the head boys’ coach. In 2005, he joined the staff at Bethel College to serve as the assistant women’s coach, which led to him taking over the reigns as head coach in 2010. Steve spent 10 years in an elementary gymnasium teaching Phys. Ed. Now he is using his past teaching experience and his passion for soccer to bring Soccer Shots to South Bend and the surrounding communities. In 2022, the opportunity was presented to take over ownership of the Northwest Indiana territory, and it only made sense to expand the potential to impact the lives of more children throughout all of Northern Indiana Steve lives in Osceola with his amazing wife, Erica, and children, Harper and Hudson.

Hi! I’m Taylor. I grew up in Dayton, Ohio and have lived in Indiana for the past 15 years. I enjoy playing soccer, listening to music, reading, and taking walks outdoors. It is a delight to have the opportunity to combine my love for soccer with my passion for providing children a positive and safe place to learn and grow. Nice to meet you!

Hi I'm Coach Nick! I grew up in Munster and have been playing soccer for about 15 years. I have been with Soccer Shots for 2 years and have loved every minute of it. For fun I play soccer in some leagues and enjoy spending time with my dog. The best part of coaching is seeing the kids grow and develope a relationship with the coaches and really come out of their shell. It is truly amazing to be able to help impact so many kids lives and help introduce them to soccer!!!

Hi I'm Coach Allan. I am from a small town in the UK called Scarborough and have been in the US since September 2019 and coaching with Soccer Shots since January 2020. I have my USA Soccer National D Coaching Licence since Summer last year. When I am not coaching I enjoy running, playing pickleball walking my dog and reading. The best thing about coaching for me is when that shy quiet kiddo scores their first goal, gives that first big smile and high 5!! Looking forward to seeing everyone on Soccer Island soon!!

Hi, I’m Sofia! I played soccer for 14 years, and have been coaching soccer for 4 years now! I’m currently in nursing school, and hope to work in pediatrics. When I’m not in school or coaching, I really enjoy running! I also like to read, swim, and listen to music, and my favorite food is dino chicken nuggets. Being able to teach kids the beautiful game of soccer is so rewarding to me because I get to see their confidence grow! I can’t wait to be your coach!

Hey I’m Micah! I’ve lived in Indiana part of my life. I have played soccer since I was 4 years old.I have played at lake central high school and also clubs.I have been working at soccer shots for about four years now. Right now I am studying at Purdue Northwest as a Mechanical Engineering. In my free time I like to spend time with family and also hang out with friends, going to play soccer. Nice to meet you, and i can't wait to teach your kids about soccer

Hi, I'm Ellie! I have played soccer since I was 4. I love teaching and watching kids master new skills. When not coaching I love to dance, be outdoors (especially oceanside on the beach), do yoga, bake anything from scratch, and make my own soaps. Oh, and coffee. I almost always have coffee in hand all throughout the day. Can't wait to see you all on the field!

Hi! My name is Brooklyn. I am a student at Valparaiso University in their direct admit PA program. I joined the Soccer Shots team because I love being involved in my community. I played club soccer competitively for 10 years. The sport is a big part of my life and shaped me into the person I am today. I hope to spend my time here motivating my new friends at Soccer Shots to be the best person they can be on or off the field .

Hi, I’m Coach Sam and I'm originally from Spring Arbor, Michigan. I have played soccer since I was 4 years old. My passion for soccer and sports in general sent me to Huntington University where I received a Bachelor’s of Science in Sports and Recreation Ministry. When I graduated from Huntington I moved down to Panama City, FL for 7 years. Family brought me back to Fort Wayne where I found Soccer Shots! I love getting to use both my passion for inspiring young children and my passion for the game of soccer every day!

Hi, I'm Coach Roxanne. I am originally from Detroit Michigan and the Lions are my team!! When I am not playing or coaching soccer I enjoy writing, listening to music and hanging out with my cats! The best parts of coaching for me, are the kids smiles, laughter and watching them grow as players and people.

Hi, my name is Imani! I played soccer for 9 years. When I am not playing soccer I enjoy going to concerts, playing my violin and eating g my favorite food which is french toast sticks. Soccer is a big passion of mine and I'm so excited to help kids learn the game I love so much.
