Where can my child participate in Soccer Shots?

Soccer Shots is held at childcare centers, preschools, elementary schools, as well as public locations. Our public locations are open to the general public while our childcare, preschool, and elementary school programs are for children enrolled at the location.

What type of equipment will my child need to participate?

Soccer Shots provides all of the necessary equipment for the children to participate. Your child should wear activity and weather appropriate clothing. Shin guards and cleats are NOT REQUIRED.

How do I know the locations of the park programs?

To find public programs in your area, click the enroll now button at the top right side of the page. You can use the filter on the side of the website to help you narrow down your search.

What can I expect from a Soccer Shots session?

Our weekly programming is 30 minutes for minis (2-3.5 yr olds), 45 minutes for classics (3.5-5 yr olds) and 1 hour for premiers (5-7 yr olds). Our program focuses on basic soccer skills like dribbling, passing, and shooting. Through fun games and positive reinforcement, children begin to experience the joy of playing soccer and being active. We also highlight a positive character trait each sessions such as teamwork, appreciation, and respect.

What happens if a session is cancelled due to inclement weather?

Soccer Shots includes one make up day per season if needed for inclement weather. We add an additional day onto the end of the season for the make up day. We do play in rain and chilly temperatures as we live in Western New York and the weather can be a challenge.

How do I know if a session is cancelled due to inclement weather?

In the case of inclement weather, Soccer Shots does its best to notify families one hour prior to the start of each session. We will send all families a text message and email to the phone number and email address on the child's account. We will also post to Facebook one hour prior to the start of the session if a session is cancelled.
