Coach JR is from Sao Paula, Brazil. He graduated from USP University in Physical Education. Coach JR played professional soccer in Brazil and the US. He loves to swim and take his dogs to the lake! Coach JR and his wife, Kerri, have two sons who both play competitive soccer (futebol)!
Coach Brenny is from Ankeny, Iowa. She graduated from Simpson College with a degree in Social Justice Studies in 2024. She is currently a Graduate Assistant at Grandview University, pursuing her Masters in Organizational Leadership. Coach Brenny enjoys doing hot yoga and spending time with family and friends!
Coach Gracie is from Indianola, IA. She is currently attending Drake University, studying Business Law and Spanish. Coach Gracie played soccer for 13 years! Coach Gracie is on the track team at Drake! In her free time she loves to run dn lift weights, as well as going to the movies with friends, playing with her dogs and shopping!
Coach T was born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa. He is currently studying Elementary Education at Grand View University. Coach T played competitive soccer for various academies grouping up and now plays on the men's team at Grand View!
Coach Myrissa moved all the way to Iowa from Washington State! She graduated college in 2016 from the University of Southern Indiana with a Bachelor's and Masters in Sports Management. Coach Myrissa has prior middle school coaching experience and loves working with children! She looks forward to helping kids learn, have fun, and build character on Soccer Island!
Coach Andre is from Chicago, Illinois. He is currently attending DMACC to pursue a Business Management Degree! Coach Andre enjoys being active by going to the gym and playing sports with friends and family!
Coach Dawson grew up in Williamsburg, Iowa. He is a student at Faith Baptist Bible College, majoring in Pastoral Studies with a Minor in Counseling. He has played soccer since he was four years old! Coach Dawson loves to watch movies and play the trombone!
Coach Maggie is from Chattanooga, TN! She has been with Soccer Shots for 2 years, starting as Director of Coaching in TN! Coach Maggie graduated from Southern Wesleyan in 2016 with a Major In Exercise Science and a Minor in Biology! She played soccer during her 4 years at Southern Wesleyan and thats where her love for running grew! During her free time Coach Maggie loves to read, go on runs or find a new hiking trail! Coach Maggie looks forward to meeting your kiddo on Soccer Island!
