Jennifer Sloat, Co-Owner/Director Born and raised in central Long Island, Jennifer began Central Suffolk Soccer Shots with her husband to foster a love of the game within children after her own kids instilled a love of the game in her. She believes in creating opportunities for all youth to play soccer at any level they choose. After spending the past several years as an editor and writer, Jennifer decided it was time to get out from behind a desk and onto the pitch where she finds the most happiness. She is a graduate of Rutgers University, president of her neighborhood organization and was named as a Long Island Fortune 52 notable woman in business. An avid runner, Jennifer believes that exercise and play is not just good for the body, but for the mind as well. We are proud to offer youth soccer in Central and Eastern Suffolk County.
Andrew Sloat, Co-Owner Andrew, a human resource manager, has played soccer since the age of seven, after his dad took on the challenge to coach a sport he never played and instilled in him a passion for the game. He holds a Long Island Junior Soccer League “C” Diploma and NSCAA Level 3 Diploma license and has coached soccer for the past 10 years. A graduate of St. Joseph’s College, Andrew’s philosophy is that youth athletics builds character, camaraderie and life-long friendships and believes coaches play an essential part in keeping our youth in sports.
