Greg and Sara joined the Soccer Shots team in 2016. Being able to use youth sports to make a positive difference in the local community is an absolute dream.

Coach Taylor serves as our Franchise Integrator. She played soccer collegiately at Columbia International University and graduated with a Bachelors in International Community Development and a Masters in Organizational Leadership. Coach Taylor is excited about positively impacting the community through the game of soccer! In her free time, Coach Taylor enjoys spending time with friends, getting outdoors, and traveling.

Coach Kevin is our Executive Director and he grew up in New York and has been playing soccer since he was 2 years old. Coach Kevin started with us as a full-time coach in January 2019, then served as our Director of Development from December 2019 through January 2024 before moving into his current role of Executive Director. He played throughout High School and played D1 with the University of Nevada Las Vegas where he majored in Hotel Management and minored in marketing. When Coach Kevin isn’t teaching or playing soccer, you can find him hiking most trails in Colorado, cheering on his favorite futbol team, Arsenal, cooking a great meal, camping, exploring and spending quality time with family and friends.

Coach Gwen was born and raised in Florida where she began her Soccer Shots journey in Fort Myers. She graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University with her degree in Integrated Studies with a focus on Child Development in Sports Education. Coach Gwen loves coaching and teaching all about the love of sports through soccer! In addition to coaching, Coach Gwen spends her time with her cat Saturn, reading books, and being outside! She cannot wait to see you all on Soccer Island!

Coach Cody was born in Colorado and has lived here for his entire life. He started playing soccer when he was 5 and played all the way through high school. When he’s not on Soccer Island, he loves doing stuff outdoors like hiking 14-ers or going skiing. Coach Cody is super excited to help his soccer friends get better at soccer!

Coach Darian is our Director of Operations. She grew up in Iowa and soccer has been her passion since she began playing as a child. She played soccer at Marquette University and graduated with a Bachelors in Social Welfare & Justice and a Masters in School Counseling. She played professionally overseas in Iceland and then began coaching. She coached collegiately at Northern Michigan University as an assistant and at the club level for Shattuck-St. Mary's in Faribault, MN. In Coach Darian's free time she likes to be active with her boyfriend, Pat and golden retriever, Hazel. She loves giving back to the sport that gave her so much, and is looking forward to the future of Soccer Shots!

Coach Kristyn grew up in Connecticut and played soccer, as well as a variety of other sports, throughout her life. She graduated from James Madison University in Virginia with a Masters in Elementary Education. She taught fifth grade for three years in Las Vegas before moving to Colorado! When Coach Kristyn is not on soccer island, she likes to exercise, hike, and explore the city with friends! She is excited to support her soccer friends as they grow and develop important skills both on and off the field!

Coach Abi grew up in Southern Illinois, but also lived in Athens, Greece throughout her high school years. Abi played collegiate soccer for Columbia International University where graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Intercultural Studies. In her free time, she hangs out with her husband and 2 kids, as well as her friends and family. She is excited for the opportunity to make an impact on kids’ lives through the game of soccer.

Coach Kale'a grew up in Santa Cruz, California. She graduated from the Art Institute of San Diego with an associates in international culinary arts. In 2018 she moved to the beautiful mountains of Colorado! A few years later Kale'a had her son Ezra who inspired her to work closer with our youth. She has been a coach with us for four years and has joined our team as a Development Coordinator. When Coach Kale’a is not on Soccer Island she is dancing with her kids, cooking and gardening. She is most excited to help our future generations learn about their passions and meet new friends along the way.
