What is the difference between programs for ages 2-8?

Mini Age 2: Soccer Shots Mini is a high-energy program introducing children to fundamental soccer principles, such as using your feet, dribbling, and the basic rules of the game. Through fun games, songs, and positive reinforcement, children will begin to experience the joy of playing soccer and being active. Involvement of one parent/guardian is required. Classic Ages 3-5: Soccer Shots Classic utilizes expert theme-based curriculum focusing on basic soccer skills like dribbling, passing, and shooting. Creative and imaginative games foster learning, and a positive character trait is highlighted each session such as respect, teamwork, and appreciation. Premier Ages 5-8/K-2nd: Soccer Shots Premier is for children grades K-2nd (ages 5-8) who want to join a best-in-class training experience that emphasizes tactical skill development and competitive team play. The Premier program is designed for those who want to build upon what they’ve learned with increased scrimmage time, and also for those who want to experience our outstanding Soccer Shots program for the first time.

What happens if there is inclement weather in the middle of a session?

During spring, summer and fall seasons, whenever possible, we will use indoor space during inclement weather. If there is no indoor space available, we will schedule to make up a maximum of two classes due to inclement weather (extreme cold, heat, or rain). If one of the makeup sessions would be cancelled due to inclement weather, we would not schedule an additional makeup. If weather causes a session to end early and 50% of the time of the session was not completed, Soccer Shots will work to determine how to make up the missed content by using the makeup day or adding time onto sessions. The plan will be communicated out to parents. If 50% or more of the time was completed, we will not provide a makeup.

Can I register my child if they are not of age by the start of the season?

For our public programs, we allow a child to participate if they are turning of age anytime during the season. School locations typically require to be of age at the start of the season.

What should my child wear?

Children should be dressed in comfortable clothes and sneakers. Often times, it is helpful to have an extra layer to remove and/or add during days of wind, varying temperatures, and light rain.

What equipment is necessary?

Cleats and shin guards are not required or encouraged for our programs. Please dress your child in comfortable clothes, wear sneakers, and bring a water bottle. Our coaches provide all equipment necessary. If your child has a soccer shots jersey, it is recommended to wear but not required.

What is the annual enrollment fee?

The annual enrollment fee is a $30 fee charged once every 340 days. The enrollment fee helps to cover additional cost of facility fees, insurance, season prizes, and other expenses. When the enrollment fee is paid, it triggers a jersey to be mailed to your home.

What is your withdrawal policy?

We do not offer refunds at any time. If you are requesting a withdrawal from a class at least 4 weeks prior to the start of the season, we will allow a credit for the amount that you paid for the session. If your request is less than 4 weeks prior to the start of season, you can receive a credit for a future season minus a $25 processing fee. Once the season has started, we do not offer credits. All requests for credits for sessions prior to the start of the season must be made in writing and emailed to [email protected]

How will I know if a session is cancelled?

Please check our website and Facebook page for the most up to date information. If your class is not posted as cancelled, please plan to attend as our coaches often make on-site decisions depending on local weather.
