Krista grew up playing soccer in Lancaster County and always had a passion for working with children. She earned her degree in elementary education while playing for the women’s soccer team at Virginia Wesleyan University. After teaching for three years, she transitioned to Soccer Shots in 2016, and started working for the Harrisburg & York franchise. During her time there she coached countless numbers of children, trained coaches, developed training programs, and lead a team to continued growth in number of children served and positive impact in the community. In the beginning of 2022, Krista transitioned into ownership of the Lancaster & Lebanon territory. Krista’s husband Evan, is the men’s soccer coach at York College and also an alumni of the program. They live locally in Lancaster with their three children, Maddox, Avery, and Sloane.

Coach Emma is the Director of Coaching and comes from Lancaster County. She graduated from Lebanon Valley College with a degree in psychology and played for their women’s soccer team! Coach Emma loves to spend time with family and friends. She loves the color green, french fries, and chai lattes. She was even a flight attendant at one time! Coach Emma loves sharing her love for the game of soccer with children and can’t wait to meet you all.

Coach Myranda truly enjoys working with children and being able to make a difference. She also loves helping people feel confident and enjoys seeing the process of an individual believe in themselves more! She describes that her purpose in life is to help others and create the best possible environment for those around her!

Coach Christy lives locally with her husband Alex and two daughters; Jordyn and Evelyn. She grew up playing and loving sports. She played soccer and basketball at the collegiate level before beginning her coaching career. Coach Christy has experience working with children in preschools as well as on the sports field!

Coach Melissa was born and raised in New York City and has a big, fun personality! She has tons of energy and loves the outdoors. Coach Melissa is currently studying at Millersville University to earn her degree in Technology and Engineering Education. She’s ready to bring the energy to every Soccer Island!

Coach Trent is a third grade teacher and a high school soccer coach. His favorite thing to do in his spare time is to go golfing. If you can’t find him in the classroom or on the golf course he is probably out hiking or kayaking. He is looking forward to teaching the kids new skills both on the soccer field and in life!

Coach Kayla recently graduated from Grove City College and works for Clark Associates. She has 6 siblings, and has always loved being around children. Her favorite color is blue, and she loves salt and vinegar chips as well as coffee (Dunkin to be exact!). Coach Kayla loves playing soccer and getting to spend time with people. She is always excited to meet new children and families on Soccer Island!

Coach Abby loves working with children and building into the next generation. She just graduated with a dual bachelor degree at Lancaster Bible College in May of 2022 and is now a teacher! She loves music, exercise, teaching, and having fun!

After graduating high school in Lancaster, Coach Jadyn spent a gap year studying in Costa Rica. Now, she is attending Lancaster Bible College and studying Early Childhood Education. She loves playing sports and staying active. Summer is her favorite season and she loves taking naps in the sun and going swimming when the weather is nice. Coach Jadyn loves spending time with kids and playing sports, and is so excited to do both of these through Soccer Shots!

Coach Mike is a retired school teacher and high school volleyball coach. He received a degree in Psychology from Messiah College, and later received his elementary teacher certification from Millersville University. He taught for 32 years, 31 of which were in the Carlisle Area School District, mostly teaching 6th grade science. Coach Mike loves spending time with his family, which includes a grandson and granddaughter!

Coach Michael is a full time research analyst for a commercial real estate brokerage. He works from home with his wife and one-year-old son! Coach Michael likes sports, music, and board games! He can often be found reading fiction, running with his dog, and spending time with his family. He has been playing soccer since he was 7, and loves the chance to pass on his experience to the next generation!

Coach Amy has worked with young children as both a preschool teacher and elementary paraprofessional for the past 18 years. She recently went back to school and is pursuing her BAED. In her free time, she is an avid camper and has visited many of Pennsylvania’s state parks with her family. Her family loves to hike and kayak!

Coach Nikki graduated from college with a degree in Wildlife Conservation. She currently working as a lab tech at Eurofins Labs. Coach Nikki played soccer all the way through middle school and is excited to work with the next generation of soccer stars!

Coach Jesse is a senior at Lancaster Bible College and is currently studying Sport Management. He is a Lancaster County native and live in Ephrata, PA. Coach Jesse loves to work with kids and is excited to have the opportunity to teach them life skills while having fun playing soccer! He is so excited to meet his new friends on Soccer Island!

Coach Suzy is a life-long soccer enthusiast. She started playing at 5 years old back in NJ, and then played through college in central PA. She started coaching right out of college at various levels, and was able to coach her own kids! Now, she can’t wait to share her love of the game with Soccer Shots! Off the field, Coach Suzy is a freelance graphic designer, a wife, and mom to two very busy kids. She loves spending time at the beach and playing with their rescue pup Ginger.

Coach Meghan is a junior at Lebanon Valley College where she is majoring in Early Childhood Education. Soccer has been apart of her life since she was 3 years old. She absolutely loves everything about the sport, and loves that she has the opportunity to share her passion with others. Working with children both in and out of sports has always been a passion of Coach Meghans and she is so happy that she gets the opportunity to have fun and do something she loves!

Coach Olivia currently a senior at Manheim Central High School. Next year, she plans to go to college to get a degree in elementary education. Coach Olivia played on her high school soccer team and has played since she was 5 years old. Some of her favorite things to do are trying new coffee shops, spending time with kids, and playing soccer. She can’t wait to share her love for soccer with all of you!

Coach Kayleigh is currently a student at Lancaster Bible college in the Early Childhood and Special Education program. She also played on the Lancaster Bible College Woman's soccer team. She grew up in York, PA and has been playing soccer since she was four years old. When she is not studying or playing soccer, she enjoys being outdoors, as well as spending time with her friends and family.

Coach Lauren is from Philly and is majoring in Early Childhood Education at Lancaster Bible College. She loves reading, playing games, traveling and eating ice cream! Coach Lauren is so excited to meet all of her new friends on Soccer Island!

Coach Abby was born and raised in Lancaster. She graduated from Penn Manor High School in 2023, and she is currently studying Health and Physical Education at Lancaster Bible College with the dream of becoming an elementary school gym teacher. Coach Abby comes from a big family where she is one of six kids (4 sisters, 1 brother) and has been blessed with many nieces and nephews. Aside from spending time with her family, in her free time she enjoys running cross country at LBC, hiking, volunteering at her church, shopping, and finding all of the best local coffee shops! She has always had a love for sports, a desire to help others, and a passion for working with kids which has led her to Soccer Shots! Coach Abby is so excited to meet all of her new friends!

Coach Calli is from Lancaster, PA! She grew up playing soccer since she was 3 and wanted to share her love for the sport by coaching the newer generations. She is currently a sophomore at Elizabethtown College and is double majoring in Occupational Therapy & Spanish, where she hopes to pursue a career working with children! Coach Calli is looking forward to teaching children valuable life-lessons and soccer skills that can be applicable to their daily lives!

Coach Ian graduated from Warwick High School, where he played soccer, football, and volleyball! He is the second oldest of six kids in his family. Coach Ian has always loved working with and teaching younger kids and is excited to start coaching as well!

Coach Emily has always enjoyed sports and staying active! Not only does she find working with children incredibly rewarding, she also loves creating a fun and supportive environment to help friends develop their soccer skills and build confidence! Coach Emily is so excited to meet all her young players out on Soccer Island!

Coach Darius started playing soccer in middle school and played through high school. He is currently studying at Millersville University and majoring in sports management. Coach Darius has always been an active person so he is excited for the opportunity to play and have fun with his new soccer friends! He is looking forward to coaching his new friends and helping them advance their soccer skills!

Coach Adam describes himself as always being energetic and in a happy-go-lucky mood! He is a former college athlete that has 8 years of coaching experience with children of all ages. Coach Adam has a 9 year old daughter that he is always looking to enjoy new experiences with. He enjoys going camping, hiking and to amusement parks! Coach Adam loves to try new things and staying active by running with his soccer friends!

Coach Amber loves to be outside and enjoys playing with their dog, Emrys! Coach Amber is from Lake George, New York, where they played soccer throughout middle school and high school! Coach Amber also played rugby and soccer in college, and they love teaching new people about the sport. Coach Amber describes themselves as a big USWNT fan!

Coach Hannah is a student at Franklin and Marshall college. She is a double major in cognitive science and psychology and is the president of women in stem at her school! Her favorite things to do are to hike, read and go on trips. Coach Hannah has been working with kids since she was a kid! She loves being able to create a fun environment where children can be themselves.

Coach James is currently pursuing a Doctoral Degree in Neuroscience where he is studying brain activity in rats! He graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelors of Science in Biology – Neuroscience and a minor in Piano Performance! Outside of the lab, Coach James loves to spend time with his wife and kids, play the piano, hike the outdoors and mow the lawn. His favorite aspect of coaching is to see students grow over time and live up to their full potential!

Coach Cayla from Columbia, Maryland. She was homeschooled growing up, and that gave her lots of opportunities to play sports (like soccer!) and provide childcare services for people in her community! She is currently studying at Lancaster Bible College to earn her degree in Early Childhood education.Coach Cayla loves any opportunity to get outside, move her body, and have fun!

Coach Stephen is from the New Holland area and loves to meet new people! In his free time, Coach Stephen enjoys playing video games and watching movies/shows. He is also a fan of watching/playing soccer, baseball, basketball, and football. Coach Stephen is a big superhero fan, and would love to hear all about his soccer friend’s favorite superheroes!

Coach Jax is currently a college student studying social work. Their passions include working with children and investing in the community around them! In their free time, Coach Jax loves going for hikes in the woods with their fiancé and exploring Lancaster city! Coach Jax is very excited to meet all their new soccer friends!

Coach Marissa recently graduated from Elizabethtown College with a degree in Early Childhood Education and a minor in Coaching! Currently, she is studying to get a Masters in Special Education. Coach Marissa is passionate about giving access to engaging sport activities for all children! As a coach, she loves to have a session filled with fun, smiles, and laughter while still learning new soccer skills!
