Christian Treney, Owner/Director A lifelong soccer fan, coach and player, Christian started Soccer Shots in Monmouth County, NJ in 2014 with the goal of introducing the love of the game of soccer to kids. Christian grew up in Toms River, NJ where he began playing soccer at the age of 3. In high school he was team captain, and also achieved All-Conference, All-County, and All-State Honors. Christian went on to play soccer at Methodist University where he made 2 NCAA appearances, one trip to the NCAA National Championship game, and received the Coach’s Award. Christian went on to graduate from Methodist University with a degree in Business and Accounting. Christian has been coaching youth soccer for 17 years throughout New Jersey and North Carolina. He has extensive training and coaching experience with players ranging in age from 3 years old to semi-pro teams. Christian lives in Bayville, NJ with his wife and two daughters, both of whom are avid soccer fans and aspiring players.
