Over the past 30 years, Doc Snyder has had a successful career in sales, recruiting, and business ownership, and has always been a dedicated sports dad. His love for youth sports and focus on great family experiences led to the development of one of the premier youth baseball tournament venues in the country. In the process, Doc onboarded partners, investors, and employees to help make the dream a reality. Doc and his wife Lisa have four kids, and live in Glenview. Over the years, they have been active in Young Life and with a variety of youth sports including soccer, baseball, football, basketball, swimming and water polo.
I am the DOC of Soccer Shots North Shore Chicago. Soccer has been a passion of mine since I was young, as a player it has taken me around the world on a professional level and as a coach at the club level it has taken me across the country. I am excited to lead this region to spread the love of the sport to the next generation of players.
I grew up playing soccer in the north shore of Chicago and have been coaching youth sports for almost 6 years.
My name is Nancy Zapata, a first-generation Mexican American and owner of El Churro Bueno, a bakery offering sugar-free, gluten-free, low-carb Mexican pastries. As a medically retired government agent, I bring unique skills beyond my love for soccer, which I've played and led since 4th grade. I've also helped raise 10 nieces and nephews, enhancing my interpersonal skills and demonstrates a fun and kind personality with both kids and adults
Hi everyone! I’m coach Vanessa. I started playing soccer at the age of six. Ever since then, it has been a fundamental part of my life. It has helped shape me into the woman I am today, and I'm grateful for the lessons, friendships, athleticism, and memories this sport has given me. I couldn't be more excited to be a coach now and teach the new generations the beautiful sport that I hope will be as fruitful to them as it was to me growing up.
“and super instructors!“
“and Coach Leo is the best coach. He always tries to re-engage kids when their attention may be on something else or if they run off the field. He takes the time to make them feel welcome and comfortable.“
“So patient and sweet! They take the time to include every kid, work with their strengths and work on their weaknesses!“
“We’ve had three different coaches since we started Soccer Shots, and all of them have been great instructors, remembered the kids’ names, and did an excellent job getting all of the kids to participate. We’ve already recommended to several friends“
