A native of A native of Buffalo, NY, Patrick has played soccer since the age of 5. He played high school soccer at St. Joseph’s Collegiate Institute and club soccer with the Buffalo Niagara Soccer Club. He eventually played Division I at Canisius College, where he received a bachelor’s degree in marketing. After graduation, Patrick gained his first youth coaching experience with the Kenton Soccer Club of Buffalo. Patrick has been a part of Soccer Shots for nearly three years. He started as a coach in Binghamton, and soon after became the director of Soccer Shots Syracuse. In addition to directing, he also worked as an assistant coach for the Onondaga Community College men’s soccer team. Patrick is a member of the NSCAA and has his USSF “E” license. Patrick is grateful for the coaches in his life that have shaped him as a player and person. He hopes to help pass on the ideas of sportsmanship, hard work and team play that have been instilled in him throughout the years.
Sean grew up in Rochester and began playing soccer at the age of 8 and has been involved with the sport ever since. He played high school soccer for Bishop Kearney, and coached the modified team after graduating. He attended Mercyhurst College in Erie Pennsylvania before graduating from St. John Fisher with a degree in Sport Management which led him to working for the Rochester Rhinos. After three years with the Rhinos, Sean then made the move to work for D.C. United of Major League Soccer where he worked closely with many of the youth soccer clubs in the D.C. and Virginia area. He was then hired by Loudoun Soccer Club in Leesburg Virginia as the Mini Program Manager. Sean was there for four years over seeing the programing for nearly 4000 soccer players ages 3-6 years old. He recently returned home and began working as a full time coach with Soccer Shots and has now transitioned to the role of Program Director to help oversee the day to day operations. Sean is a member of the NSCAA and has his USSF “E” license as well as his TOPSoccer Certification, and also coaches with Empire United Soccer Club.
Kody is originally from Syracuse, NY and started playing soccer at the age of 12 where he quickly fell in love with the game. He played all through highschool and continued to play club soccer in college at SUNY Brockport. He started as a coach with soccer shots back in 2021 and since then has been promoted to the Director of Coaching. He is also a coach for the Rochester Rush soccer club and has his USSF "D" liscense.
Zach has lived in Rochester his whole life. He played at the collegiate level for both SUNY Brockport and RIT. Zach started as a coach in the fall of 2023 and since then has been promoted to Assistant Director. Coaching has been something he always loved as he can instill the love of the game on the next generation of players!
Hi, my name is Addy, and I am from Conesus NY. I went to RIT, and got a masters in Environmental, Health and Safety Management. I currently work for Xerox as an Environmental Manager. I have been coaching for almost two years. Coaching is so much fun, and I enjoy being able to do something active in my free time. I love watching the kids grow in skill and character throughout the seasons.
Hello! I’m Coach Leah! I live in Rochester and currently work for the Rochester Police Department. I also work at Arc and Flame where I teach glass art and am pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology through Capella University. In my free time, I like to learn new skills such as riding ATVs on trails and snowboarding. I love hiking in the surrounding parks around Rochester and have been continuously playing soccer since the age of 5! I look forward to teaching children the game of soccer and instill a lifelong love for the sport like I have.
Hi! I’m Coach Haleigh! I’m originally from Pennsylvania, where I grew up and played collegiate soccer at Penn State. We won a National Championship in 2015! I’ve coached at the club, high school, and collegiate levels. I am currently a 5th grade teacher in the Pittsford Central School District. I enjoy hiking and going to the gym with my husband. I love working with kids and having fun on soccer island!
Hi, my name is Joe Maher and I’m a soccer coach here at Soccer Shots. I have seven years of experience as an ESL teacher and a love for the game of soccer. I look forward to bringing my dedication for teaching the youth to Soccer Shots to help kids develop their soccer skills and build confidence through the fun and beautiful game of soccer. I’m looking forward to being your coach!
