Coach Emily is from Kansas City, Kansas and has played soccer since she was 4 years old. She first started playing on an all-boys team. She played club soccer and high school soccer. She is currently at MidAmerica Nazarene University continuing her academic and athletic career. She has a huge passion for helping others and working with kids. Emily enjoys spending time with family, listening to music, and watching movies.
Coach Laura grew up in Bogotá, Colombia where she started to play soccer in one of the best Soccer Clubs in the city, Goal Start (with Coach Jay as her head Coach –Now, both of them work with Soccer Shots!). Coach Laura played at Trinidad State Junior College in Colorado for 2 years, winning Player of the year Award twice in a row with the region 9 of the NJCAA. She is now following her career at MidAmerica Nazareth University with a Scholarship to get her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and posterior getting a certification as a Athletic Trainer. Coach Laura also enjoys painting, biking, and listening to music. She hopes to play professional soccer in the future.
Coach Bonnie is from El Paso, Texas and grew up playing a multitude of sports. After watching her children participate in sports from the bleacher, she has decided to take on an active role in their athletic development. Coach Bonnie is very excited in coaching Soccer Shots kiddos and make a positive impact in their lives through the sport of soccer.
Coach Bree’s favorite things include; spending time with her husband & 4 boys, writing, swimming, puzzles, reading books (Harry Potter is her favorite!), heart-to heart talks with friends, and cheering on the KC Current & Chiefs. Coach Bree is a huge Swiftie! Her favorite thing about coaching with Soccer Shots is fostering a love of soccer and nurturing neurodiversity on Soccer Island!
Reginald (Trey) is an enthusiastic soccer coach with a passion of educating and mentoring our young athletes through sports. He has his bachelor degree in Kinesiology from Avila University and is pursuing his master’s degree as well. He is dedicated to promoting both individual development & athletic ability in all of his SoccerShots friends.
Cassie is a passionate soccer coach with a love for teaching and mentoring young athletes. She is currently a senior majoring in elementary education at the University of Evansville. She is very dedicated to fostering both athletic skills and personal growth in all of her players.
Mo is originally from Senegal but was born and raised in Verona, Italy. Played soccer since he was 5 and played for Hellas Verona Academy for 10 years. After that, he played in the third and fourth divisions in Italy and moved to the US to play soccer at Baker University where he started for all four years and was Captain for two. While in Italy Mo was coach for U-11 Hellas Verona academy team and individuals when he came to the US.
Coach Sara is from Spain, and has been around sports since she was little. When she is not working Coach Sara loves to play basketball, going on walks with her dog and watching different sports. Coach Sara brings an international perspective to the game and can’t wait to meet all of her new soccer friends and make an impact!
Coach Rain is originally from Edmond, Oklahoma and is now working towards her Bachelor of Arts at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Rain started playing soccer when she was 10 and has loved it ever since. She worked as a referee for Edmond Soccer Club where her passion for mentoring children in soccer began, and she can’t wait to grow that passion even more with Soccer Shots!
