Coach Orlando grew up in Florida. He began playing soccer when he was 12 and rapidly gained the love for the sport and all of its teachings. After High School, he went off to college in Orlando, FL and obtained a Criminal Justice degree. There, he began sharing his passion for the sport coaching for the Orlando City Youth Academy, a local High School, Club teams and development programs. In 2015 he moved to North Carolina and started to pursue what he is most passionate about within Soccer Shots, developing character in young minds through soccer, just as someone did for him as a young 7-year-old boy. Coach Orlando and our Soccer Shots North Salt Lake City team are grateful for the opportunity to give back to the community and contribute to shaping young minds in the beautiful area of Salt Lake.

Coach Cameron grew up in West Jordan and played soccer for West Jordan High School. The love for soccer came soon after his dad took him to a Real Salt Lake match when he was 8 years old. Ever since, it is tough to catch him going several hours without playing or having a soccer ball at his feet. Coach Cam loves collecting anything Spider-Man and Star Wars related. In his free time, he watches the Premier League, Anime, and loves to hang out with his family and 3 dogs! Coach Cam can’t wait to meet you on soccer island, and if you see him around, ask him who his favorite soccer team is.

Charlie (they/them) is a student at the University of Utah double majoring in Psychology and Gender Studies. They are passionate about mental health and see Soccer Shots as a wonderful way to teach children valuable life skills that they can carry with them to adulthood. Charlie's goal is to become a therapist for youth and young adults. In their free time, Charlie can be found producing an audio drama with their friends, writing their honors thesis, or longboarding on the Jordan River Parkway. They are happy to be a part of the Soccer Shots team!

Coach Kennedy is originally from Arizona and is now a student at the University of Utah. She is currently studying accounting and marketing. She has played soccer her whole life and hopes to coach her nephew once he gets old enough. During Coach Kennedy's free time, she enjoys painting nails and spending time with friends. Her current obsession is Formula 1, and guess which team/driver she likes?

Coach Ivan I was born and raised in West Valey City, Utah. He has been playing soccer since before he learned how to crawl. His favorite professional teams are Barcelona, and of course, Real Salt Lake!! During his free time, you can catch him enjoying the beautiful outdoors. Perhaps give him some interesting outdoor pointers to try if you see him on a hike.

Coach Ely was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah and has been playing soccer since she was 3. She was always a shy kid, but soccer always got her out of her bubble and some of my favorite memories were spent on the soccer field. On her free time, she loves to watch women’s soccer and the U.S. Women’s National team, which is her absolute favorite.

Coach Sophia has been playing soccer since she was 2. Her favorite drink is her father’s coffee from Fry Roast Coffee. She loves her family and traveling more than anything. She has a sweet heart and enjoys giving her best to her friends.

Coach Noah is 24 years old and is from Snohomish, Washington. He loves to stay active and go on hikes. One of his favorite treats are donuts and loves to cook. His favorite thing to make is his very own beef jerky. Coach Noah is currently attending Arizona State University online and is pursuing a Data Science degree. Perhaps give coach Noah some recipes if you see him around!

Coach Elsie grew up in West Jordan and recently got married! She has a passion for teaching and working with kids, which makes her day. She loves sports and right now she’s been really into rock climbing. She also loves art, thrift shopping, and her favorite thing is binge watching tv with popcorn!
