"Coach Dav” has always been passionate about soccer and sharing his love for the game with others. Dav was born and raised in Mexico, and attended Messiah College in Pennsylvania, where he was a four-year member of the NCAA Division III powerhouse men’s soccer team. He was a winger for the Falcons, and he helped them to the 2017 Division III National Championship. He now oversees the operations of over five franchises between Connecticut and Massachusetts, working to fulfill our mission of providing “A beloved growth experience for every child; a remarkable experience for every family; a transformational experience for every coach”.

Coach Rachel grew up in Pennsylvania, not far from Philadelphia but just recently relocated to New England. She has danced all her life and began ballet classes at age 3. Besides dancing, Rachel enjoys cooking, baking, and playing with her dog. She also likes watching movies and has a special love for all things Disney. A fun fact about Rachel is that she loves sprinkles, whether on cookies, ice cream, or even on foods like oatmeal. In her role, Rachel works on all aspects of Soccer Shots public programming from working with our partners to build our season schedules, to working with families in learning how to improve our programs. Additionally, she is in charge of all our marketing efforts, and social media accounts.

Coach Fredy was born in Guatemala City, Guatemala, and currently resides in Norwalk, CT. He has been playing soccer since the age of 3 and has only played soccer growing up. During his spare time, Coach Fredy loves to play soccer on his own, watch Netflix, hang out with his family, and loves to do arts and crafts with his two younger brothers. Some of Coach Fredy’s fun facts are that he has played soccer in Guatemala and has played on the U-23 Guatemalan National team, and he speaks three languages. Fredy loves to teach children the best soccer skills and loves when the children have fun and are excited to play soccer.

Jess very excited to be a part of The Soccer Shots Team. She joined us in October of 2023 and as our Partner Services Manager, works remotely to connect with schools throughout our territories; ensuring all clients are appropriately communicated with, and that we are providing the best service and experience possible! Jess grew up in New Milford, CT and resides there with her husband and two daughters. She worked as a Toddler Teacher 2005-2015, and most recently a Preschool Director 2015-2023. She has a deep passion for connecting with, and enriching the lives of children. In her role, she works closely with all our school partners in order to provide the highest quality of service, and ensure our enrichment program continues to be an asset of an addition to every center/school we work with.

Coach Mars is Dominican, so Spanish is actually his first language. He came to the US when he was 5 and grew up in Bridgeport. He moved to Norwalk about a year ago and currently stays in Norwalk. Growing up he played all different sports, but no other sport compares to his love for basketball. He is excited to teach, but most importantly have fun with our Soccer Shots friends. Growing up, his history teacher had a big impact on him; he looks forward to having a positive on the next generation as well!
