A native Iowan, Chad was raised in Springfield, Missouri where he played soccer throughout junior high and high school. Chad attended Evangel University, where he continued to play soccer and received a B.S. in elementary education. After college, Chad relocated to the Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex, where he played soccer with the Ft. Worth Men’s Soccer League. He attended the University of Texas at Arlington and received his M.Ed. in educational leadership and policy studies. He taught math in public schools for 15 years before leaving the classroom to start Soccer Shots. Chad is honored to be able to combine his passion for instruction, love for the game of soccer, and determination to positively impact the lives of children. Chad and his wife, Brandi, a speech-language pathologist, live in Ft. Worth and they have a daughters, Lark and Wren.
